2nd degree crimes carry a sentence of 5-10 years in state prison. 3rd degree crimes carry a sentence of 3-5 years in state prison. 4th degree crimes carry a sentence of up to 18 months in state prison. Disorderly and Petty Disorderly Offenses which are normally handled in Municipal Court and carry a maximum sentence of up to six months in County Jail and a fine of $1000.00. These "offenses" equate to other State's "misdemeanors." |
